Design user experiences for new and existing web-based educational software applications. Design user interfaces in software applications informed and validated by research and data. Develop user stories, wire frames, interaction flows, mockups, and quick prototypes and polished visual design. Gather user research and use findings to build initial designs and rapid prototypes for iterative user testing with teachers and students. Create high fidelity prototypes. Participate in software design review sessions with product owners and stakeholders. Prepare and present mockups and wireframes to internal teams and key stakeholders. Partner with design leads, product owners, and developers to craft new features for web-based software applications for teachers and administrators to use. Prepare designs for review for internal teams and key partners. Develop polished front-end designs for handoff to developers. Leverage and evolve software design systems, craft visual details, and maintain guidelines to optimize software application product consistency. Participate in problem solving and design to drive compelling user experiences and interfaces. Collaborate closely with design and product leadership to define features and contribute to the overall direction of product. Utilize Figma, Adobe CC, Sketch, InVision, and Zeplin. Design desktop and mobile applications. Utilize HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Perform digital product design in education technology. Design Accessibility features in digital products. Liaise with customers to gather and document user experience.
