Description

Associate Vice President of Finance

Graham Windham is hiring a full-time Associate Vice President of Finance.

Job Duties:

  • Take charge of day-to-day fiscal accounting operations.

  • Independently manage critical accounting tasks.

  • Provide financial information to agency leaders for forecasting and strategic planning.

  • Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures, establish and maintain a robust system of internal controls to prevent financial fraud.

  • Prepare the agency's Financial Statements.

  • Collect, summarize, and interpret financial data while ensuring accuracy.

  • Regularly provide supervision for direct reports using the agency's established supervision model; Undertake short and long-term special projects as assigned by Supervisors or senior administrators.

  • Ensure accreditation and compliance with regulatory agencies and funding sources; Oversee government reporting and audit planning.

  • Collaborate with senior management to conduct risk analysis, covering operations, compliance, legal, and reputation aspects; analyze credit, financial ratios, and liquidity to mitigate risk, evaluate historical and forecast future financial performance, as well as equity valuation.

  • Foster positive relationships with Graham's funders, Board, and Programs, promoting a cohesive organizational culture.

  • Supervise Accountants and Auditors and Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerks.

  • Telecommuting is an option.

    Job Requirements:

    Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Must have 60 months experience as an AVP of Finance, Fiscal Assistant, Accountant, Staff Accountant or a related position.
