Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in Brooklyn, New York. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain precise records of customer credit.

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions when needed.

• Utilize SAP software to manage and track customer data.

• Ensure all customer applications are processed in accordance with company policies and guidelines.

• Collaborate with the team to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable process.

• Conduct regular audits of customer accounts to ensure accuracy.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required.

• Ensure confidentiality of all financial data. Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar is essential.

• Proficiency in SAP software is required.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Willingness to continuously improve and streamline the accounts payable process.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
