POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Team Coordinator will provide clinical leadership to the clinical consultation staff and will be the lead person interacting with the ACS Program Manager to ensure that the goals of the clinical consultation program are implemented in line with the Agency and ACS agreed upon expectations.

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide services to children who are victims of child abuse or neglect or who are at risk of being abused or neglected.

• Provide overall clinical and administrative responsibility for the clinical consultants.

• Provide direct clinical supervision to the clinical consultants.

• Conduct focus groups with Child Protective ACS managers, front line, and supervisory staff to assess training needs.

• Create linkage with mental health, substance abuse and domestic violence service provider.

• Develop linkages with ACS staff, service providers, and contract child welfare agencies.

• Schedule follow-up meetings with individual substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental health service providers.

• Schedule follow-up meetings twice yearly with service networks to discuss referral process, and client needs

• Develop back - up systems to provide emergency clinical coverage.

• Collect required data to measure level of clinical consultation services and effectiveness.

• Maintain a log of requests for clinical consultation services.

• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED:

  • LCSW, LMSW or Masters in psychology.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED / LANGUAGE PREFERENCE:

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience (both clinical and managerial).

• Knowledge of child welfare system preferred.

• Knowledge of mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence issues.

• Willingness to work the City Holiday schedule.
