Description

Robert Half is excited to partner with a leading non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for economic justice for low to moderate income individuals and communities of color. We are currently seeking a dedicated Bilingual (Spanish/English) National Services Representative to join our mission-driven team. This role is pivotal in supporting our members and advancing our advocacy efforts to fight the racial wealth disparity gap and other critical issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Member Service Calls: Handle incoming calls from the National Queue professionally, managing and defusing any tense situations to alleviate member frustrations. Must be fluent in both Spanish and English.

  • Resolve Issues: Proactively work with members to resolve issues, accessing their files in the Lynx system, and documenting all interactions and resolutions. Bilingual communication is essential.

  • Timely Response: Ensure all calls are addressed effectively and promptly, with the ability to communicate in both Spanish and English.

  • Appointments: Coordinate and schedule appointments across various departments for members, with bilingual capabilities.

  • Web-file Assistance: Help members with access issues to their Member Portal, including password recovery, in both Spanish and English.

  • Documenting Complaints: Log complaints in the Lynx system with detailed information about the member, involved staff, subject, description, and resolution, using bilingual skills.

  • Outgoing Calls: Make necessary outgoing calls to members as required, with the ability to converse in Spanish and English.

  • Email Responses: Manage and respond to all emails from the assigned Email Follow-up lists diligently, in both Spanish and English.

  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the organization’s policies and procedures to provide accurate and consistent information in both languages.

  • Outreach: Support advocacy and outreach campaigns by engaging with members, church leaders, businesses, politicians, and community leaders, using bilingual skills.

  • Advocacy and Support: Participate in advocacy campaigns and activities, embodying the organization’s mission in fighting for economic justice, with the ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English.

    Requirements

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.

  • Proficiency in the Lynx system or the ability to quickly learn new software.

  • Experience in customer service or related field, preferably in a non-profit or advocacy setting.

  • Commitment to the mission of advocating for economic justice and racial equity.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
