*POSITION PURPOSE: *

  • Assures the manufacturing processes and all machinery in the SMT Department are capable of meeting or exceeding customer delivery requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Programs SMT assembly equipment for production of jobs.

Monitors departmental processes to assure maximum efficiency and resolves technical issues.

Creates, edits and maintains all documentation.

Makes process improvement recommendations to improve production.

Assures that all SMT assembly equipment is properly maintained.

Assures that the SMT assembly department is in compliance with the Companys Quality System.

Works with other departments to expedite or resolve problems to ensure customer product delivery dates are met.

Participates in internal and external quality system audits as needed.

Participates in or coordinates committee activities.
