Fresh Direct Merchandising Consumer Analyst in Bronx, New York

Identify, analyze, and interpret customer shopping trends and category purchasing habits to address key problems and opportunities through syndicated data analytics. Share risks and opportunities with business partners; Work closely with Merchandising team and design customer research projects and surveys. Leverage Qualtrics research platform to execute research, gather, and analyze collected data. Provide insights and recommendations to business teams ; Be a key partner for the Merchandising and Supply Chain teams to define key business targets and “effectiveness” metrics; Collaborate with merchandising teams on category management, assortment rationalization, promotion planning and shopper marketing. Provide data support and develop data tools and dashboards, such as promotional planning tracker, merchandising sales and promotion dashboards, shopper marketing performance recaps, etc.; Work with partners in merchandising and tech teams to identify and collect data necessary for key analyses. Establish processes to automated data collection and execute ETL processes for various merchandising attributes; Use SAS (analytics tool), SQL programming tools to identify customer insights and develop business recommendations. Leverage Power BI tool to identify implement new reporting and analytical tools providing visibility to performance by different departments; Create and facilitate user acceptance testing and drive adoption of reporting toolsets (through training sessions) across supply chain and merchandising teams. Must have a Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Merchandising or related field plus 1 year of relevant experience. Experience must include: 1 year of experience with SQL for pulling data from data warehouse, creating data models and data sources for reports and dashboards; 1 year of experience with SAP Business Objects data structures for creating ad-hoc and reoccurring reports and performing data automation; 1 year of experience with creating Excel formulas, pivot tables and DAX for creating reports, developing data tools and performing analysis; 1 year of experience with PowerBI for data visualization and ad-hoc and reoccurring report and dashboard building; and 1 year of experience with business analytics generation and reporting.
