Position Summary:

The Assistant Director of Admissions recruits Law School applicants including at engagements off-campus and online, reviews a large number of applicant files, reviews and ensures maintenance of admissions webpages.

Essential Functions:

  • Reports primarily to the Director of Admissions.

  • Is a member of admissions committee that reviews a high volume of applicant files;

  • Assumes responsibility for off-campus candidate recruitment. Functions as Admissions representative for the Law School at National and regional recruitment fairs and forums which involves significant travel during the fall semester (September – November) – including weekend and evening commitments; some spring semester (January – April) travel may also be required.

  • Is primarily responsible for managing and maintaining all JD Admissions webpages, including internal admitted student portal.

  • Is primarily responsible for coordinating all admissions virtual meetings on Zoom, Calendly, and LinkTree.

  • Assumes responsibility for assisting in maintaining correspondence with prospective students;

  • Supports Associate Director in hosting high profile Admitted Student Yield Events both off and on campus.

  • Undertakes special projects and responsibilities as needed by the Director and Associate Director of Admissions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent work experience required.

  • Two years of experience in the admissions, student services environment or related area

Minimum Salary: $62,400

Maximum Salary: $72,000
