This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Applicants will be considered for opening on shift posted. Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required. General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to read and write where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Additionally as lead, you would need to relay important information to plant supervision, be self-motivated, and work well with others. Must have 5 years of maintenance experience or a maintenance certification from an accredited school. Must own small hand tools and have a working knowledge of electricity, power, transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting, and the use of shop tools.
