Overview

Oak Orchard Health is looking for a well-organized Executive Assistant to provide support for our Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity to establish working relationships with high-level executives and contribute to the overall efficiency of our organization.

Summary

This salaried role will provide high- level administrative support for Oak Orchard's CEO to ensure they can efficiently accomplish key tasks and company initiatives. This position includes calendar management, organization of meetings, liaison with the Board of Directors, contract management, travel planning, taking meeting minutes, project coordination, preparation of meeting packets, preparation of correspondence, and special projects. Position would include occasional evenings to attend board meetings.

Responsibilities

  • A complete understanding of OOH Mission and Services.

  • Serves as a resource to the Senior Executive Management Team (SET) by reading, researching, and interpreting guidelines, regulations, and contracts. Collects data and uses independent judgment in analyzing information. Relays information to the appropriate SET team member

  • Manages all contracts for the organization. Analyzes the effectiveness of the contract and makes contract revisions as appropriate. Responsible for developing contracts, handling legal matters for review while maintaining close contact with attorneys for decision making and/or directional recommendations.

  • Manages special projects as needed including overseeing and leading the preparation for Operational Site Surveys.

  • Supports the Board of Directors by developing & managing the annual Board calendar monthly, conducting meetings, capturing notes and actions items, developing & managing the Board budget and ensuring Robert’s Rules or Order are followed.

  • Serves as a resource to the Board of Directors relating to HRSA compliance questions and concerns

  • Develops the capital budget in collaboration with the Senior Executive Team.

  • Participates in the strategic planning process for the organization and makes recommendations for improvement.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications

  • Provide support for any other reasonable request by Management

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree in health care administration, Business Administration or other business or health care related degree required

  • BA degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a health care setting

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite

Salary Description

$58,459.00 and up commensurate with experience
