The Software Security (DevSecOps) team is a group of Builders, Breakers, and Fixers that specialize in collaborative security engagement. The goal of the DevSecOps team is to provide self-service security and to that end, the team is focused on enabling the 3 Ways of DevOps: Fast Flow, Rapid Feedback, and Continuous Learning.

How will you make an impact?

As an intern in Software Security team, you will engage with development teams throughout the organization, provide guidance related to secure development tools and practices, and develop code to automate processes and workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and configure our software security toolchain.

  • Perform application security scans using SAST and DAST tools.

  • Collaborate with product development teams on deployment of state-of the art DevSecOps practices.

  • Create Python and/or PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

  • Provide metrics and reporting on security tool adoption and risks.

Requirements:

  • University student (bachelor’s or master’s) or doctoral candidate.

  • Basic knowledge of Python, experience with other programming languages is a plus

  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.

  • The ability for independent thinking and decision-making.

  • Active and creative approach to problem-solving.

  • Willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge.

  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
