What You'll Be Doing:

Testing embedded devices to ensure the product is bug-free. Candidate will have to co-ordinate with offshore India team in overlapping hours. He/she will also be managing, tracking, and ensuring all ensure all offshore tasks are delivered with quality, on-time and bug-free.

What We Are Looking For :

Looking for a senior hands-on Technical Manager. Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

Candidate needs to be proficient and have working experience in embedded device testing skills.

Roles & Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure successful delivery of projects to customers & contribute for enhancing the best practices of the testing life cycle.

  • Help to mapping business requirements, designing customized solutions & to analyse business practices and define optimal procedures.

  • Responsible for risk mitigation, back up and disaster recovery program

  • Set up process and policy management to ensure smooth operations and day to day issues.

  • Onsite/offshore project management to ensure project delivery, client relationship and understand client Development and Engineering work methodology and expectations.

  • Work with QA Engineers and Developers to design, develop and maintain functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.

  • Developing, debugging, and maintaining production test firmware and software

  • Provide timely feedback on feature functionality, validity, and product defects.

  • Ability to identify new testing techniques and tools.

  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

  • Designing, creating, and maintaining Automation test setups

  • Demonstrable experience integrating test activities on a Scrum team.

  • Excellent Leadership, team player and exhibit a positive attitude.

  • Strong collaboration, oral and written skills.

Mandatory Skills required: Require strong working experience in

  • Bluetooth & Wi-Fi device testing

  • Testing Docking station.

  • Testing meeting room device

  • Video Conferencing device testing

  • True Wireless Earbuds testing

  • Wireless Headsets testing

  • Testing Gaming controller devices

  • Testing Cleaning bots

  • Working experience in Jira

  • Experience managing both device testing as well as test automation teams

  • Gather product/Feature requirements, Design Test plan, Review, Writing Testcases, collaboration with Embedded Software Developers and other SQA engineers.

  • Working with Development Team, reproduce the issue, debug the issues, gather the required logs as per development team request.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

Part Time Employment: $62,900 - $87,700 CAD (20hrs/week)

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at the offer.
