Gatekeeper Systems USA FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN in Bristol, Pennsylvania

  • Duties & Responsibilities

    · Performing diagnostics and preventative maintenance on mobile video systems

    and equipment

    · Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.

    · Testing, configuration, and troubleshooting

    · Replacement of failed equipment

    · Installation of mobile DVR systems and associated cameras on vehicles

    · Produce timely and detailed service reports utilizing electronic workorders and

    obtaining customer sign-off.

    · Follow all Gatekeeper Systems USA Inc. policies, procedures, and protocols.

    Skills & Qualifications

    · Certification or a Diploma in electronics, networking, or a computer-related field

    · Experience supporting and installing 12V video recording systems (DVR's and

    cameras)

    · Experience in low voltage 12V DC vehicle systems.

    · Experience with IP cameras and DVR's that support IP cameras.

    · A support role in customer service with products, systems, or networking

    equipment

    · Superb customer service, communication, and self-management skills

    · Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.

    · Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

    · Must be at least 21 years of age and have three years of driving experience to be

    covered under the company's vehicle insurance policy.

    · Must be mechanically minded and capable of performing installation activities

    for products in vehicles and Wi-Fi equipment on customer sites.

    · High-level ability to test, troubleshoot, service and repair equipment.

    · Familiarity with mobile tools and applications

    · Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and written communication skills

    · Hands on and able to "roll up your sleeves" and "get dirty."

    · Eligible to work in the US.
