POSITION SUMMARY

The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics. Using a variety of hand tools, such as a utility knife, sealing machine, tape dispenser, tape measure, and hand truck.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform related duties of preparing tags and shipping papers on each order inspected.

  • Maintain necessary records.

  • Detected and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervisor.

  • Maintain work area and equipment in clean, safe, and orderly condition.

  • Follow established company rules and regulations safety precautions and maintain quality standards.

  • Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, and electronic and pneumatic tooling.

  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

  • Follow detailed Floor Dry Work Instructions posted on the area wall

  • Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to inspect own work

  • Maintain weekly inventory of pads in the building and in storage containers

  • Do daily shipping reports

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Requires the use of computer, printer, copier and scanner.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Time-management skills

  • Ability to pay attention to detail

  • Organization skills

  • Ability to multitask

  • Basic understanding of frequently used computer software and programs, such as Microsoft Office

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Familiar with manufacturing operations

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION PREFERRED

The work environment is representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be required to stand.
