POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Veeva and Appian Center of Excellence (COE) intern at Sanofi plays a pivotal role in supporting the Digital R&D team. This position is within the Veeva and Appian COE and is responsible for the management of the Appian Platform and Sanofi Vault platform. The intern will actively contribute to developing Proof of Concepts with the COE team, gaining valuable insights into the key R&D platforms utilized by Sanofi.

Collaboration is at the core of our success, with the Veeva and Appian COE seamlessly integrating digital initiatives with Research & Development, Manufacturing, and other essential functions, maximizing the impact of digital technologies across Sanofi. Key technologies include:

Veeva Vault Platform : Veeva Vault is a cloud-based content management platform and suite of applications that provides life sciences companies with a single source of truth to reduce complexity and increase business agility.

Appian Platform: A low-code automation platform that automates business processes, enabling quick application design, development, and deployment of the most complex processes from start to finish.

As a Veeva and Appian COE intern at Sanofi, some of your daily activities will focus on optimizing digital processes and supporting the overall efficiency of the Digital R&D team. You will actively collaborate with assigned leads to develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring accuracy for the Appian and Veeva platforms. Additionally, you will contribute to the enhancement of workflows on Appian and Veeva, working closely with team members to streamline internal processes. You will also engage in ongoing research on emerging technologies and tools relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, offering valuable insights and recommendations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.

  • Eagerness to learn about GxP Regulations, Good Documentation, and Data Integrity requirements in the biopharmaceutical industry.

  • Proficient computer skills, including the use of productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

  • Ability to assess and interpret data to draw sound conclusions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to accomplish tasks collaboratively and receive constructive feedback.
