Adecco US, Inc. Sensory Technician in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Adecco Medical & Science is looking to hire a Sensory Technician for their local client in Bridgewater ,NJ location .

Pay - 24.50/HR

SCHEDULE: 40 hours/week M-F 8-5 (with 1 hour lunch)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and run sensory tests and tasting sessions:

  • Administer sensory and consumer tests following the Sensory Specialist's/Scientist's and Senior Technician instructions and according to best practices (build session in sensory software, prepare and code samples, provide samples to panelists).

  • Manage products under tests (procurement, storage and disposal, incl. compliance document tracking such as NesTMS PR).

  • Contribute to checking panel data and to build results report.

  • Schedule, plan and execute informal tastings including product preparation, ballot development and reporting. Have a clear understanding of the tasting procedures, methodologies and proper product preparation procedures.

  • Participate in informal tasting to provide guidance as needed.

  • Responsible for the complete oversight of all acuity testing requirements for discrimination panel recruitment including onboarding, providing general lab orientation, laptop set-up, and maintaining records of monthly attendance, performance and administration of information/feedback (report cards, etc.).

Responsible for Sensory laboratory:

  • Responsible for implementing good laboratory practices and safe laboratory behavior.

  • Keep sensory equipment and facilities clean, organized and operational. Order material/supplies as required and suggests improvements.

  • Administers products under tests as well as sensory references (incl. manufacturing, ordering if relevant).

EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma and bachelor's degree preferred.

Technical training in scientific or food-related field required.

Experience in sensory laboratory management is a plus

Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.50 per hour
