Bausch Health Senior Manager Professional Affairs & Strategy (Medical Device) in Bridgewater, New Jersey

The Senior Manager Professional Affairs Strategy position is responsible for leading and implementing Solta’s Key Opinion Leader(KOL) Professional strategy while executing on other critical elements within our KOL relationships strategy.

The position reports to the Vice President and General Manager and will partner with our brand marketing teams, compliance, legal, medical affairs, and regulatory stakeholders to align tactics as well as the supporting systems and process functionalities to be able to execute on the strategic imperatives for our KOL relationships and strategy.

  • Effectively partner cross functionally to develop the KOL strategy, focusing on driving engagement and education.

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing on professional tactics including speaker presentations, webinars, etc.

  • Collaborate with agencies and internal partners to develop, manage, and drive all KOL content and activity

  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are being followed in the planning and administration of Speaker Bureau activities

  • Conducting training for field employees for professional programs as well as training for KOLs/vendors as applicable.

  • Facilitate efficient and meaningful reporting of KOL Program activities to brand marketing team and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews.

  • Supporting the efficient and accurate reporting of spend related to KOL programs

  • Liaise with Legal and Compliance to ensure that KOL Program process and system are in alignment with policies and SOPs.

  • Development of resources and tools for field sales with the aim of creating efficient and compliant program execution.

  • Manage direct communications with KOL as needed to ensure timely and professional experience.

  • Leverage creative mindset to build innovative edge regarding new technologies / engagement platforms to effectively educate stakeholders

  • Build and maintain solid and credible relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), educational institutions, and associations to drive professional outreach

  • Perform additional duties or assignments as professional education needs arise

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree along with Commercial Operations and/or marketing experience, and/or Legal/Compliance.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, 3+ years vendor/KOL management experience preferably in the medical device industry.

  • Plastics and Aesthetic medical device experience working with KOLs a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of key laws and regulations impacting the medical device industry.

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required; experience with Veeva and other CRM systems preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the analytical ability to translate data into actionable business process improvements.

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills in order to interface effectively with various cross-functional groups with proven ability to collaborate and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • A creative individual with strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior management and external high-profile healthcare professionals.

  • Self-starter with ability to take leadership in unstructured environment.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
