Description:
The Senior Coordinator, HR Operations is responsible for working across and within HR groups to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, especially in the HRIS system and by association, downstream and vendor systems, such as Payroll and Benefits, and for reporting from the HRIS. They document data collection and maintenance procedures and follow up with HR on needed data, data accuracy, and appropriate procedures for each employee transaction. The Senior Coordinator, HR Operations gives guidance and direction to administrative, technical, and clerical staff on the operation and maintenance of the human resources data systems.
Essential Functions:
Prepares, maintains and updates employee data for the HR information system.
Processes employee data changes and corrections including mass updates and org changes
Maintain confidentiality and security of employee information
Handles all emails via the HR Operations inbox and responds in a timely manner
Responds to escalated questions and issues received from the business, including login issues, and data set up items, ensuring that they are responded to in a timely manner.
Documents procedures for data entry
Runs audit reports to verify data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies or errors, suggest new reports to audit data or suggest additional data fields
Generate reports as needed and by request and assist with data analysis as needed
Responds to ad-hoc requests from management for data and generates existing reports or informs HRIS of any advanced report requests they need to manage.
May create other ad-hoc reports utilizing appropriate reporting tools as needed.
Responds to ad-hoc requests from cross-functional departments
Documents procedures for data audit and standard reporting
Supports HR data and procedures for other HR Applications such as employee survey software and HR Analytics.
Develops user documentation and procedures
Periodically reviews and audits I-9s for Bridgewater location
Keeps HR files organized, following record retention policy
Takes proactive measures to help ensure integrity in systems and processes.
Assist in identifying efficiencies through simplification, standardization, and automation of processing HR transactions
Researches and corrects employee data integrity issues
Coordinates and publishes periodic (eg., weekly) data transaction/lists to HR, for example, New Hires, Terminations, Severance, One-Time payments, etc.
Provide payroll reports to business on a weekly basis
