Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Developer/Software Engineer with specialized experience in IBM Tealeaf. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Tealeaf implementation, administration, and configuration, coupled with a good understanding of website development, web server architecture, and digital analytics. The role involves working closely with development teams to optimize customer journeys and web/mobile applications by leveraging Tealeaf's tracking, replay, and data analysis capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review planned web and mobile changes with development teams to identify Tealeaf impacts and create the corresponding technical design.

  • Configure data capture and masking rules to ensure customer data privacy and regulatory compliance.

  • Tracking & Reporting: Implement Tealeaf tracking events, set up dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics.

  • Lead the configuration and optimization of replay features for both web pages and native mobile screens (iOS/Android), ensuring high accuracy and usability of the replay system.

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure Tealeaf compatibility with web pages, mobile applications, and APIs.

  • Configure and manage the Tealeaf data processing pipeline, ensuring data is properly captured and processed for analysis.

  • Perform deep-dive data analysis and generate reports on the customer journey/experience for digital assets. Identify opportunities for improvement and present actionable insights to the business.

  • Provide guidance to users on the optimal use of Tealeaf and best practices for analytics and event tracking.

  • Conduct administrative tasks, optimize Tealeaf systems, and plan for upgrades or new module implementations.

  • Manage the installation of Tealeaf for new digital assets, including server installation, and the configuration of new modules, versions, and patches.

Required Competencies:

  • Implementation, administration, and configuration of PCA, Canisters, Portal, Replay server (3-5 years).

  • Data capture configuration (PCA interface, pipeline, privacy rules), Canister (Transport Service pipeline privacy rules) (3-5 years).

  • Replay implementation and optimization (classic replay, DOM replay, native replay, replay rules, UI capture configuration) (3-5 years).

  • Analytics configuration (events, dimensions, hit attributes, dashboards, reports) (3-5 years).

  • Conducting data analysis to extract actionable insights and presenting findings (3-5 years).

  • Solid understanding of website development, web server architecture, and technologies like SPA, JSON, JavaScript, CSS.

  • Digital Analytics Tools Familiarity:

  • Familiarity with Adobe Analytics or other digital analytics tools at a user level.
