Job Description

Overview:

As the Immunology Launch Lead, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating pre-launch and launch activities, ensuring the successful introduction of the self injector device into the market. You will lead cross-functional teams, act as a point of escalation for key stakeholders, and oversee project management to drive the launch process forward. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the rest of the Immunology Marketing team to develop and implement a comprehensive omnichannel promotion approach. While primarily focused on self injector launch, this individual will also work on base product (vial and syringe) as needed including supporting performance management (both vial & syringe and self injector) as well as strategy and operations for the immunology portfolio.

This is a key role for the Immunology team and is designed to be an accelerated role which can evolve 12-18 months from launch to either additional marketing responsibilities or roles within the commercial organization (market access, commercial effectiveness, Strategy & Ops) based on interest.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Coordination: Develop and coordinate pre-launch and launch activities, including leading launch kickoff meetings, conducting Launch Readiness Reviews, and acting as a thought partner with the brand lead. Create and lead the implementation of a strategic roadmap and operational direction for the launch process, ensuring alignment across functions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with Immunology Marketing team to collaborate on launch marketing deliverables, including the development of an omnichannel promotion approach. Develop impactful, omnichannel promotional plan for HCPs and Patients, and execute. Work closely with other functional workstreams such as Medical, Market Access, and Patient Support to ensure alignment and integration of launch deliverables.

Project Management: Oversee project management across functions for the launch product, ensuring clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables are established and met. Act as a point of escalation for launch team members and key stakeholders, addressing issues and driving resolution as needed.

Performance Management: Define KPIs and performance metrics to monitor launch performance against budget and targets. Analyze performance trends, provide insights on variances, and proactively drive launch performance. Monitor external environment, market trends, and customer behavior to guide demand planning and provide inputs on supply planning.

Strategy and Operations: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize launch performance and drive business objectives for the portfolio (vial & syringe/self injector). Lead performance management and reporting for both. Provide strategic and operational support to ensure the successful execution of launch plans; refine based on market landscape changes, primary and secondary data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.

  • 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, commercial product launch management, or related roles. Autoinjector/injectable launch experience a plus

  • Strong understanding of the US pharmaceutical market, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research, data analysis, and performance tracking.

  • Solid understanding of other functional workstreams including Medical, Market Access, and Patient Support.

  • Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives and operational plans.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
