We are seeking an experienced Director, Compensation to develop, implement, and manage our compensation programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our organization's compensation programs are competitive, effective, and aligned with our business objectives. Reporting to the Vice President, Total Rewards & HR Operations, the Director, Compensation will be responsible for developing and administering global compensation programs in support of Bausch + Lombs strategic priorities. This role will partner with HR Business Partners to provide subject matter expertise in developing solutions to support the business.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage employee compensation plans, including salary structures, bonus programs, and equity compensation plans

  • Monitor global compensation trends and assist with the planning, development, and implementation of new/revised programs, as needed

  • Act as Compensation Lead for global implementation of the compensation module for annual planning, driving decision making and managing requirements

  • Manage all aspects of equity-based compensation globally, including overseeing all processes from grant to vest, ensuring compliance with requirements across all countries and vendor management

  • Manage the annual compensation process globally, including overseeing the global salary budget process and administering the annual bonus program

  • Oversee the participation in and analysis of results of compensation surveys, including managing the relationship with the survey vendors

  • Conduct market analysis to ensure that compensation packages are competitive

  • Identify and drive global compensation program process improvements

  • Develop and deliver compensation program communications

  • Develop and implement compensation policies and procedures

  • Keepapprised of applicable laws and regulations and manageFLSA compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in related discipline required; Masters degree or CPP certification a plus

  • 10+ years of progressive compensation management experience in the following areas: base pay administration, bonus and incentive design and implementation, recognition programs; executive compensation experience preferred

  • Proven experience in equity administration required

  • Experience working with HRIS systems; advanced Excel skills required

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with proven experience

  • Strong consultative, problem-solving, and facilitation skills

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with HR and cross-functional teams

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable communicating with business leaders and sharing point of view

  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated; ability to set and manage priorities, multi-task and pivot as priorities change
