Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead Global Respiratory CI activities (primarily focusing on the asthma and nasal polyps market as well as relevant lifecycle management) bringing proactive key competitive intelligence to leaders within the global (including the US) commercial organization that will reduce uncertainties and create insights to help guide optimal business decisions

  • Legally and ethically monitor, gather, analyze, and communicate actionable, reliable intelligence on the competitive environment including company messaging, commercial activities, pipeline/R&D, life cycle management, and predicted/actual strategies and tactics

  • Ensure appropriate intelligence and value added insights are captured and disseminated throughout the commercial organization and supporting functions including regular intelligence briefings and early warning alerts

  • Work in close collaboration with the commercial, medical, market access teams, other related market insights functions and forecasting to create and maintain up to date key intelligence topics and develop a prioritized implementation plan to provide best solutions

  • Collaborate with colleagues to synthesize internal and external information, analytics and data to arrive at value added conclusions

  • Manage external vendor(s) to proactively maintain appropriate levels of market intelligence coverage

  • Lead Congress CI efforts and provide key competitive insights before, during and post congress

  • Work with alliance partner to ensure key knowledge, intelligence and insights are shared and cascaded throughout the alliance as appropriate

  • Be an essential member of the Dupixent Competitive Intelligence team and collaborate with other CI and cross-functional colleagues to establish and share best practices and work to continuously to improve the intelligence process at Sanofi Genzyme and Sanofi

ABOUT YOU:

  • Strong business and science background. Advanced degree in a science and/or business- related discipline is strongly preferred. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience (Competitive Intelligence experience at a biopharma company or on a consulting side is strongly preferred ) or 5 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree.

  • Robust analytical skills. Ability to connect the dots and make conclusions based on limited data available; ability to translate clinical and business information into insights for the business

  • Curious and proactive in nature, resourceful, self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Ability to self-manage time and to meet deadlines. Ability to deliver high quality outputs under time pressure

  • Possess strong strategic awareness proficiencies, project management skills and have a detailed and structured thought process

  • Demonstrated ability to work at a high level in matrixed environment with many cross-functional partners including alliance partners

  • Competitive Intelligence experience at a biopharma company or CI consulting agency is highly desirable (Competitive Intelligence Professional certification is a plus)

  • Experience in the Respiratory (asthma, nasal polyps and/or other immunology markets; experience with biologics)

  • Experience monitoring and/or supporting commercial launches

  • Must possess an ability to travel domestically and internationally 20% of the time.
