Position Summary:
Under the supervision of a physician, Practice Manager and/or Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assisting the healthcare team with the care and management of patients during their visit.

Department: Urgent Care
This is a full-time 40 hour/ week position

The RN will perform professional administrative and clinical duties including but not limited to assessment, care, treatment, documentation, education and medication administration to maintain and support the office and to assure efficient patient flow through the office.
The RN will also assist the physician or other clinical staff with procedures, treatments, specimen collection and communication to patients.

Shows ability to prioritize duties. Adjusts and revises workload as necessary in view of the changing needs of the department.
Education/Experience/Licenses/Technical/Other:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing .
Experience ): One year medical office nurse experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure: Current MA Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support ) certification
Software/Hardware: Microsoft office, Meditech experience preferred
