Anderson Equipment Company Product Support General Manager in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania

Oversees the Parts and Service operations at Anderson's Pennsylvania locations (Bridgeville, Clearfield, Clarion and Somerset). 

Accountable for obtaining optimal operating efficiency while maintaining superior customer service.  

Service responsibilities include staffing, ensuring business processes are implemented effectively, interfacing with customers and manufacturers to resolve problems, identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow the business.

Parts responsibilities include staffing, ensuring orders are filled in an expedited manner, minimizing unnecessary inventory and verifying the accuracy of inventory records.

Spearhead and implement corporate strategic initiatives. 

Provide recommendations on policies, practices and procedures to improve efficiency, safety and customer service. 

Oversee facility maintenance and construction projects.

 

Qualifications include:  

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

High School diploma or equivalent required plus 5-10 years related manufacturer and/or distributor experience. Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college/university or military training a plus.

           

The candidate should have the demonstrated ability to mentor employees, schedule and prioritize work within service and parts departments and achieve financial objectives. 

                 

TECHNICAL SKILLS: 

Knowledge of heavy equipment industry lines of equipment, service trends and competitive initiatives required.  

     

Experience needed in preventive maintenance concepts and structuring major overhaul projects.  Should have familiarity with specific lines of equipment serviced by the company and the ability to quickly grasp mechanical and technical nuances (hydraulics, electronics) of new lines.  Possessing the technical aptitude to quickly diagnose problems with customer machines and develop solutions is essential.   

          

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:     

Experience in Parts inventory management a plus.  Knowledge of sales and marketing, specifically as they apply to Parts and Service is also desirable.
