Human Resources Manager (Fully On Site)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager with in-depth knowledge of HR laws. The ideal candidate will have expertise in FMLA laws, unemployment laws, and processes. As our HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including new hire onboarding, benefits administration, 401K plan administration, performance appraisals, and HR administration. Attention to detail and thoroughness are critical in this role, as you will be responsible for maintaining employee documentation and files in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.

  • Manage FMLA processes, including leave administration and compliance with FMLA regulations.

  • Oversee unemployment laws and processes, including managing unemployment claims and hearings.

  • Coordinate multi-worksite activities and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding processes and processing new hire paperwork.

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.

  • Manage 401K plan administration and oversee 5500 audits.

  • Conduct performance appraisals and annual reviews, including facilitating discussions between managers and employees and recommending raises as appropriate.

  • Maintain employee documentation and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on HR laws and processes.

  • Detail-oriented and thorough, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • SHRM certification or other HR certifications preferred.
