Technical Writers are needed for a leading manufacturing organization in the Chicago IL metro area (Bridgeview). The Technical Writers specialize in manufacturing process documentation at our high-speed manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), step-by-step documents, and theory of operations manuals while collaborating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate representation of current processes. Fluency in Spanish, both verbal and written, is advantageous, and experience with developing materials for proficiency scoring is highly preferred.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, possess the ability to engage with stakeholders and gather information directly from the manufacturing floor, and preferably have bilingual proficiency in Spanish (verbal and written). Experience with developing materials for proficiency scoring is highly preferred.
