Frit Car Inc. is seeking a Welder to join our team!

Performs welding and mechanical repairs to railcars to AAR, FRA, DOT, and customer specifications as applicable, along with the quality standards of Frit Car, Inc., by performing the following duties. The items listed are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills as required to perform the job function.

Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to: Meet AAR, FRA, Customer, and Frit Car, Inc. requirements. Read, comprehend, and complete work orders. Read, comprehend welding procedures and processes. Knowledge and use of cutting processes used in job function Lays out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications Knowledge of tools and equipment applicable to the job functions Knowledge of railcar components Complete work in allotted time frame. ? Perform various tasks as directed by supervisor and/or leadman. Report all unreported repairs that need to be done. Read and Understand MSDS Understand and follow all safety rules and regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
