Panasonic ERP Business Analyst in Bridgeton, Missouri

With a traditional ERP Business Analyst background, this role is responsible for application(s) oversight, support and optimization of the core functionality inherent to traditional business lifecycles. This team member must be business minded with the ability to work productively with business peers and decision makers alike, across various Sales Support, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance disciplines. With best practices in mind, this includes troubleshooting to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions needed to control, report and analyze transactions through the relevant processes.

This role is a mid-level individual contributor and will be empowered to learn/share/mentor their expertise with peers and business partners alike. This IT expert must be flexible and thrive on problem solving both within, and sometimes outside of their domain expertise.

Responsibilities

Support and Maintenance

  • Application(s) oversight, including corresponding collaboration with vendor partners

  • Provide day to day support and troubleshooting of user and application problems as it relates to functional transactions

  • Document and perform periodic maintenance as required by business processes

  • Furnish configuration support \ explanation as needed for regulatory compliance

  • Track all outstanding work through production ticket system

  • Practice and adhere to IT concepts and standards and make suggestions for improvement

Strategy and Planning

  • Identify operational inefficiencies resulting from poor business practices, bad data and system or integration constraints

  • Recommend current fixes or alternative solutions in conjunction with Hussmann’s standardized footprint

  • Keep current with the latest technologies

  • Initiate and engage business customers in new product reviews, tests and pilots

  • Foster strong relationships with business leaders by engaging in key business decisions \ activities that drive and control transactions

  • Effectively collaborate and cross train other functional and technical IT peers

Develop and Implement

  • Collect, document and analyze business requirements

  • Identify and solution gaps between business requirements and standard functionality

  • Establish project plan to manage expectations in terms of scope and phase timing

  • Configure setup and test functionality that supports the relevant lifecycle. This includes standard and custom interfaces to all peripheral applications.

  • Manage data conversion including cleansing efforts, validation and timing

  • Develop and maintain test scenarios

  • Develop training materials, schedule and conduct Super User training. Oversee End User training

  • Develop End User procedures for new business processes. Includes documenting and validating with user community

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, Business or related area

  • Minimum four (4) years of combined ERP Business Analyst, Process or Development experience including at least one full implementation cycle and post-implementation support in a Manufacturing or Warehouse environment

  • Minimum year (1) years as team lead or project management experience

Knowledge & Experience

  • ERP experience is required. Preferred in Oracle, Infor XA, Baan IV, AS400 or Mainframe

  • Strong, cross functional experience in Manufacturing, Warehouse / Inventory or Finance

  • Cross functional experience in Order to Cash or Procure to Pay lifecycles

  • Strong understanding of project management methodology

  • SQL programming \ interface design and build is preferred

  • Working knowledge of relational databases including database schemas and data analysis

  • Experience with vendor management including contract, renewals, business reviews, etc.

  • Experience with service delivery (internal or external)

  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to adjust presentation based on the audience
