We are committed to fostering the growth and development of each child while promoting healthy habits, including nutritious meals prepared with care and attention.

We are seeking a part-time Meal Prep / Cook who is passionate about preparing balanced and age-appropriate meals for young children while adhering to dietary guidelines and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 3-5, accommodating dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences.
  • Ensure meals meet proper nutritional guidelines and are age-appropriate in portion sizes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Manage inventory and order ingredients to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Serve meals on schedule and maintain efficiency in meal preparation.
  • Communicate with staff and parents to address any individual dietary needs or concerns.
  • Ensure proper food storage and labeling, especially concerning allergens.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking, preferably in a childcare or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of child nutrition, portion control, and healthy meal planning.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices (food handler certification is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff, parents, and children.
  • Experience handling dietary restrictions, including allergies and intolerances.
