St. Vincent’s Medical Center is a 473-bed Magnet recognized community teaching hospital committed to continuing Christ’s healing ministry through its service to the greater Bridgeport, CT community. Our Emergency Department has a Trauma Level II designation, and is a primary Stroke and STEMI center. Our 66 beds are divided into multiple zones, including a separate Observation Unit, Fast-Track area, and Behavioral Health Crisis Unit.
