Job Brief

Responsible for developing, monitoring, coordinating, and implementing the agency-wide transportation schedule for optimum service and efficiency.

Shift Worked:

9a - 5p with flexibility

Weekly Hours:

37.5

FLSA Status:

Non Exempt

Pay range:

19.50 - 20.00

Transportation Coordinator Duties:

· Manage and coordinate the scheduling of vehicles

· Manage and maintain vehicle records

· Plan and coordinate efficient vehicle routes

· Maintain vehicle maintenance logs

· Evaluate vehicle needs and recommend necessary repairs

· Coordinate maintenance schedules with vendors

· Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory

· Manage inventory, including tracking

· Assume all transportation responsibilities, including inventory management

· Maintain vehicle fleet, including ordering, repairing, maintaining, and replacing vehicles with safe, secure, and fuel-efficient vehicles

· Identify and monitor transportation regulations, and report violations to upper management

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Skills:

· Proven experience in a coordination role

· Strong decision-making capabilities

· Above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills

· Strong working knowledge of operational procedures

· Strong financial and project management skills

Experience:

· BS degree in logistics, business management, or related field preferred

· Minimum of 2 year’s experience in the field
