THERAPIST TECH I 88 (298) Open Until Filled Salary: $25,815 to $29,047 Annually Salary is based on education and experience

Job Description: Performs beginning level of work providing shift supervision to clients with intellectual disabilities. Position will assist consumers with intellectual disabilities in a residential group home setting. Position will implement training and service objectives and assess clients needs and strengths. The person is responsible for maintaining proper clinical documentation. A person must demonstrate and maintain competency in job functions. Education: Requires High School Diploma or GED. Experience: Prefer experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities. Hours of Work: Overnight shift; Hours of work may vary. Licenses/Certifications: Valid Texas drivers license and must be insurable by Agency insurance. Physical Requirements: Sight, hearing, ability to walk, talk, ability to lift up to 50lbs., ability to communicate effectively; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position.
