Location: Bremerton, Washington Type: Full Time, Temporary Volunteer Compensation: $3,561.90 Monthly Stipend Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm (Flexible start and end times depending on scheduling needs. As a Workforce Development Mentor - AmeriCorps Volunteer, you'll... help connect employees with resources to reduce the barriers they experience and will help with job mentoring to become financially independent. The member will be supporting employees with intense job support and assisting with barriers such as food insecurity, job qualities, professionalism, and hygiene. (1) Write curriculum and teach classes in Life Skills, Financial Skills, Self-Care. (2) Mentor employees at our home office in Bremerton, Kitsap Naval Hospital, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Naval Base Bangor, Naval Base Keyport (3) Build at least 4 employer connections during service term. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Write curriculum and teach classes in Life Skills, Financial Skills, and Self-Care. Mentor employees at our home office in Bremerton, Kitsap Naval Hospital, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Naval Base Bangor, and Naval Base Keyport. Find, build, and maintain at least four employer connections during service term.
