Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Planners / Estimators for a project located in Bremerton, WA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $29-$34/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Planner / Estimator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Review Automated Work Request (AWRs)

  • Write Specifications & Changes for Work Items

  • Develop Detailed Accurate Labor & Material Estimates

  • Solicits & Evaluates Subcontractor Price Quotes

  • Shop Work & Repairs

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in a Related Field or AA/AS Plus 2 Years Directly Related Experience or 6 Years Experience

  • Must be Familiar with Navy Ship Repair

  • Knowledge of Shipboard Nomenclature

  • Advanced Excel Proficiency

  • Experience/Knowledge of Shipboard Systems, Equipment, Spaces, Configuration, Labor & Material Cost

  • Working Knowledge of Navy Maintenance Data Base NMD Planning and Execution

  • NMD Program Experience (Naval Maintenance Database)

  • A trades background or deck plate experience

Preferred:

  • Understanding of reading/comprehending drawings, blueprints and writing 4E
