West Sound Workforce is partnered with several employers throughout Kitsap and Pierce Counties who have continual needs for on-call and day labor performing a variety of tasks from groundskeeping, unloading shipments, packaging and order processing, to construction site clean-up and general labor. 

If you can follow verbal directions, work well with limited supervision, and enjoy learning new things, working temporary assignments might be perfect for you!

What you might do in an On-Call Labor Position:

 

  • Load or unload products or equipment from trucks or pallets  
  • Assemble products or equipment using hand tools  
  • Perform worksite cleanup  
  • Count and store inventory  
  • Properly package and label items for shipping  
  • Assist trades professionals with specific labor tasks  

     

Our On-Call Labor positions might be for you if:  

  • You are 18 or older OR you are 17 with a high school diploma or GED 
  • You can lift up to 50 lbs on a repeated basis  
  • You are reliable and adaptable 
  • You can follow written and verbal directions  
  • You are a good communicator and have a positive attitude
