Shift: ALL Security Clearance:No Clearance ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PURPOSE (Job Description) Assists schedulers with providing daily, weekly, and quarterly project schedule updates. Reports to Scheduling Supervisor, and works under the supervision of Scheduler. Interfaces with all levels of Schedulers, Planners/Estimators, Production, Project Management Team, and Engineering. Responsible for preparing, verify, and distributing accurate and timely planning, budgeting, and reporting products. POSITION DEMANDS (Education/Training) Typically has an AA/AS plus two (2) years directly related experience, or three (3) years directly related experience. POSITION DEMANDS (Required Experience) Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Assists the scheduling team in reporting projects as necessary Ability to effectively multi-task Ability to follow instruction and a willingness to learn Knowledge of Microsoft Office software Must be organized and team oriented Understanding of industrial quality, safety, and resource loading. Will be informed of priorities and allowed to schedule work as necessary to complete required tasks within guidelines provided by the Department Manager. This position has no direct reports. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Update P6 daily progress via progressing sheets. Email daily and weekly schedule progressing sheets to Area Managers, Production and Subcontractors as needed. Enter delays and schedule Impacts. Assist Schedulers, Project Management Team, and Production in problem resolution, and determine the difference between baseline contract work, change orders, and new work. Attend Project Management Team, Production, and other meetings as needed. Accomplish other duties as assigned. ACCOUNTABILITY Accurate, timely and complete work specifications and estimates in support of execution. STANDARD EQUIPMENT ISSUE Cell Phone, Desktop Computer, Dual Monitor, CAC or Smart Card Reader. UNIQUE/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation. Must have reliable record of attendance and punctuality and be available for overtime as required. Must be able to gain access to all private and government work locations and or vessels. Must be able to physically transit all areas of the facility. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects or controls, and to talk and hear. Must have good eye/hand coordination. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be familiar with working in a naval-ship-work-environment and be able to go aboard marine vessels and the drydock, climb ladders, work in tanks and confined spaces, and wear personal protective equipment. These areas can be dirty, dusty, hot or cold, and noisy. Pay Range: $29.46 - $38.13 per hour The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
