This is a seasonal position and the anticipated first day of work is in May 2024 and the last day is estimated to be in September 2024. Maintenance Utility - Night PorterSummary: The Maintenance Utility associate is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks involved in the upkeep of buildings and grounds on the property. These duties include, but are not limited to: landscaping maintenance, handling of recyclables, ensuring cleanliness and appropriate stocking of supplies for restrooms ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on various equipment in a safe and timely manner when directed by managementEnsure that grounds are always neat and well maintained, by utilizing mowers, trimmers, and other appliances in a safe and effective manner as necessary and directedEnsure recycling efforts are consistent, on-time and handled according to the company’s environmental processesEnsure that all public areas, specifically restrooms, are always properly sanitized and cleaned while maintaining adequate stock of required suppliesRegularly inspect the business grounds and building to identify maintenance needs and report to them to managerActively participate in creating a positive work environment and promote teamworkMaintain customer service standards responding to all requests / complaints to minimize / solve problems in a timely and safe mannerWork safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective EquipmentFollow all health, safety standards, security guidelines, policies, and initiativesAll other duties as may be assignedRequirementsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalitiesMust be able to work late afternoon to evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holiday shiftsMust be able to work independently and complete a daily list of assigned tasks with little or no supervisionMajority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment.
