Biweekly Hours: 40.00

Shift: Midshift during the week, every third weekend 2nd shift

Summary:

Performs a variety of technical procedures in diagnostic radiology and one specialty area of radiology (as identified) for the diagnosis of diseases in children through adult patients. Performs quality assurance appropriate to both specialty areas. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required: Graduate of an American Medical Association accredited Radiologic Technology program. Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid Ohio Radiographer License. Possesses licensing in advanced modality (ARRT CT or M) as required for specific opening or obtains within 1 year of employment. Must have good interpersonal skills. BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to lift, pull or push over 50 lbs. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
