What You'll Do:
The System Administrator is responsible for Beaver Run's Point of Sale (POS), endpoints (desktops, laptops, and mobile devices), and telephony environment. The System Admin ensures that the uptime, performance, and security of resort systems meet all regulatory compliance guidelines as well as business and user needs without exceeding budgets. The System Administrator will handle the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for all PCs, POS systems, and peripherals. They will also ensure all technical procedures have been followed and documented properly and that all software licenses are kept up to date. The System Administrator will partner with the IT Manager and team to recommend any upgrades or systems changes that would benefit the company and increase efficiencies. The ideal candidate will come with strong industry knowledge, an eye for detail, and a self-starting disposition. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility.
Position starts at $60,000 + DOE
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operation and upkeep of company systems.
Install and implement software and services.
Ensure operational security of company systems and assets.
Troubleshoot system and access issues - POS systems/terminals, PCs, Security cameras and equipment, radios, telephones, etc.
Configure and update systems and software.
Maintain legal and regulatory compliance and document all necessary actions.
Identify areas of opportunity and coordinate with IT Manager to recommend upgrades or changes that increase efficiencies.
What You'll Bring:
3-5 years hands-on, technical experience in Information Systems Administration or other relevant field - preferred
Bachelor's of Science or Arts in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent work experience - preferred
Any additional professional certifications/accreditations - preferred
Working knowledge of PC, video surveillance, property management, POS, and telecommunications systems - preferred
Previous experience in hospitality/resort field - preferred
Experience in Microsoft Windows and Office administration - preferred
Proficiency in written and spoken English - required
