First Article Quality Inspector Position Summary:Quality Technician provides support to manufacturing technicians in areas such as data collection, monitoring, corrective action and quality improvement efforts. Quality Technician also performs product and process audits, product inspection, nonconformance evaluation and reporting.

Quality Inspector Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Reproduce and validate expected behavior of all production defects found.
  • Create, verify, and close defects on the defect tracking system.
  • Perform various inspections (Receiving, In-Process and Final),
  • Document, track, and communicate test results to product team and customers.
  • Participate in functional testing verification, collect data and prepare reports.
  • Support Manufacturing and Production technicians to meet Production target
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Records and reports on testing metrics.
  • Multitask between assignments in Production environment
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must know hoe to read and interpret blueprints
  • Must be able to use common measurement instruments such as Caliper and Micrometer
  • Calibration knowledge of Pressure Gauges
  • First Article Inspection in accordance with AS 9102 requirements
  • Work closely with product Manufacturing/Engineering to understand product compliance requirements.
