Service Champions Drywall/Stucco Repair Technician in Brea, California

Service Champions has an immediate need for an an experienced Drywall/Stucco Repair Technician to join our Plumbing Department. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently with great attention to detail, should have multi-tasking skills and be organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime when needed. This is an hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Plumbing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair drywall and stucco after plumbing department is completed to match the color and texture of the surrounding walls.

  • Work with various tools to get each project completed in a timely manner. ( hopper, brushes, caulking guns etc.)

  • Demo areas to be patched and repaired as needed, remove all debris, work in a clean manner.

  • Use correct painting materials, mix and apply products in large rooms and tight, confined spaces.

  • Document service calls and notify Install Coordinators upon completion of jobs.

  • Additional responsibilities as directed by the Plumbing Managers.

    Physical Demands:

  • The principal duties of this position are performed in a variety of environments, including customer homes, the outdoors, and field environments at development and work sites on uneven and rough terrain.

  • Required to work in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods of time.

  • Requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Standing up to 8 hours per day; Walking up to 8 hours per day on uneven, difficult terrain.

  • Occasional heavy manual labor to include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

  • Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others and to convey detailed spoken instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.

  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, or alarms).
