The project is under the implementation of work packages for the group-critical systems in the area of export control and customs within Siemens AG.

Your challenge will be:

  • Analysis, design of requirements of the applications/processes managed by the service recipient;

  • Planning and conception of change requests (effort, time, resources, process design);

  • Implementing the adaptations and further developments;

  • Creation of test case descriptions, as well as the execution of tests and their logging;

  • Development is carried out in accordance with the development process and quality specifications defined by the client;

  • Expert advice for end customers and users;

  • Professional and technical advice, error analysis and error correction;

  • Customer advice for technical questions/change requests;

  • Introduction and provision of quality assurance measures;

  • Status reporting to clients, preparation of reports on own activities;

  • Participation in status meetings as part of regular duties;

  • Compliance with information security requirements;

  • Compliance with the Secure Coding Guidelines;

  • Creation of customer and technical documentation.

As an architect, the following challenges need to be considered:

  • Consulting on the creation and planning of system architectures;

  • Creation of architecture concepts and consideration of the specific Siemens framework conditions;

  • Proactively proposing innovative solutions;

  • Evaluation of possible automation potential in the architecture;

  • Evaluation of software components and technologies for use in the Siemens environment;

  • Participation in the selection of suitable platforms and providers/service providers;

  • Support during implementation and introduction of the solution;

  • Compliance with and implementation of security guidelines of Siemens (ITSEC) with respect to IT-specific specifications.

Your qualifications:

  • Experience in developing web applications in Web Applications (HTML, JavaScript, Java - faces, pages, servlets) and Angular;

  • Good knowledge of Oracle, MS-SQL Server and Snowflake databases;

  • Practical experience in Tableau, PowerBI;

  • Understanding of common web technologies and service oriented architectures including Webservice, REST, SOAP, etc.

  • You are focused on results, quality-conscious and have a structured and systematic approach to your work;

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders;

  • Good command of English both verbal and written, German language skills are considered a plus.
