Description

We are expanding our operations and we are looking for multiple Maintenance Technicians!Great pay plus shift differential!Here at Lactalis, we offer a very generous benefits program including medical, dental, 401k with match, disability, pto, etc.

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, repair mechanical equipment and facilities; aid in the manufacturing of all company products in a safe and sanitary work environment.

  • Perform emergency repairs in breakdown situations.·

  • Perform and follow all OSHA guidelines regarding work and safety manuals; Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Ensure all programs are being upheld and documentation is current.

  • Maintain completed daily record of work performed on maintenance software.

  • Write simple correspondence, and complete manufacturing documentation completely

  • Analyze electro/mechanical problems of dairy processing and packaging equipment, and auxiliary equipment. (Includes assisting manufacturing personnel on process related problems.)

  • Work on low and high voltage transformers, motors, motor starters, and switchgear

  • Assist machine operators in determining when the machine should be shut down due to mechanical or electrical problems.

  • Perform established preventative maintenance procedures on plant equipment and completes appropriate paperwork.

  • Ability to disassemble and assemble all parts of machines and support equipment according to the manufacturer’s specifications.

  • Comprehensive working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Schedule: 12 hour shift, 6am to 6pm on a rotating schedule

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in maintenance divisions or experience in a related position.

  • Quickly able to troubleshoot/repair pumps, valves, and packaging equipment.

  • Quickly able to provide comprehensive electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Must be able to TIG weld.

  • Knowledge of industrial 3-phase power, including AC and DC motors, relay logic and programmable control logic.

  • Knowledge of Siemens/PLC strongly preferred.

  • Must possess a working knowledge of power transmission equipment, mechanical drawings, scales, and symbols.

Salary Description:$24 to $26 per hour plus shift differential
