Amazon Senior AR Analyst with German, DE Collection Team in Bratislava, Slovakia

Description

Our Financial Operations team is looking for a proactive, customer and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to manage and resolve payment and receivables topics with Amazon Advertising customers.

We’re not an average retailer and this is definitely not your average finance position. We’ll give you the opportunity to really make a difference to our business by working on and initiating projects in a fast-paced environment and ultimately delivering results.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cash collection operations in cooperation with our local sales and finance management. As part of our commitment to your development, you will also gain exposure in cross functional and process improvement projects.

About the responsibilities:

• Maintaining strong relationships and following-up with our clients via emails and phone calls to ensure highly accurate and timely collections of payments for assigned portfolio

• Preparing, reviewing and monitoring A/R Aging Reports, drive monthly collections targets, and sending statements and copies of unpaid invoices to customers

• Responding to customer billing inquiries

• Reconciling accounts, researching unpaid or disputed amounts and working with Sales and Finance to resolve customer issues and correct billing errors

• Working with Amazon customers to drive process improvements and resolve escalations and discrepancies

• Diagnosing, improving and fixing any issues with our current collections processes

• Earning the trust of external and internal customers, thereby building long-lasting relationships that reinforce Amazon’s customer obsession.

• Being a helping hand for our internal business partners in EMEA, enabling them to make educated decisions.

• Acting as communication liaison between customers, non-retail finance, the sales department and accounts receivable.

• Standardizing processes to build and maintain capacity for significant growth

• Continually seek ways to improve customer experience

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1.700 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card, career development.

Basic Qualifications

• Fluent in German and English

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Positive attitude towards issue resolution

• Good MS Office skills

• Attention to details and passion for finance operations

• Communicative, willing and able to resolve issues and financial data interchange through phone, email and face to face

• Able to present in front of different audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Studies or other directly related areas

• Previous Accounts Receivable, Customer Care, or other customer facing department experience

• Previous experience with customers communication through phone and email

• Previous experience working with remote or hybrid teams
