As a Global R&D Delivery Lead, you will be the primary liaison for the MDS Global R&D Team in implementing/remediating cutting-edge PLM solution, specifically leveraging SAP PLM S4 system and integration with critical systems like SAP MDG S4 & Product Information Management (PIM). Your role spans from delineating business requirements to spearheading the design, construction, implementation, and adoption phases using agile methodologies. Crucially, you'll leverage your expertise to ensure the smooth integration of new processes, methodologies, and tools across the organization. Your proactive approach will involve overcoming obstacles and championing change, serving as a catalyst for transformation among key users and end-user groups.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engaging closely with key stakeholders, you'll dive deep into business objectives & requirements to meticulously plan and execute R&D initiatives.

  • Proactively takes the lead during the program's design phase, ensuring comprehensive consideration and alignment of SAP PLM related aspects with both business objectives and technical capabilities.

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for system integration partners, orchestrating seamless coordination and integration of PLM processes and data across systems (SAP PLM/MDG/PIM)

  • Plan and Deliver Team activities.

  • Strategize and execute system remediation with precision.

  • Lead Functional and Technical Design Documents Creation

  • Plan and Deliver New/Change Design Scope

  • Plan and Execute Unit and E2E Functional Tests

  • Plan and Deliver Functional Technical Cutover activities.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Discussions and design decisions

  • Ensures the Products are fit for purpose to drive business needs.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to key stakeholders.

More about this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science business administration or equivalent

  • 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in R&D SAP PLM transformation, ideally in the consumer goods industry

  • Proven experience partnering with business functions on transformations

  • Proven experience developing and executing successful Product Lifecycle Management projects

  • Experience in working across commercial functions with ability to interact effectively with and be credible with Senior leadership

  • Proven experience managing third party vendors delivering solutions.

  • Strong experience with integrating applications/systems throughout the enterprise

  • Familiar operating in large and complex multi-national organizations to create alignment for strategic priorities across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Agility to manage and influence in a virtual, remote, worldwide organization

  • Understanding of DevOps practices and ability to implement those within product teams

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills
