Accenture Procurement Regional Category Lead with French in Brasov, Romania

Purpose and overall relevance for the organization:

  • Lead and coordinate the Procurement Plus Workplace category on a regional level;

  • Accountable for regional target setting in alignment with global strategy, market conditions, P goals and category objectives;

  • Accountable to communicate, execute and implement global category initiatives on a regional level;

  • Accountable to coordinate and oversee local sourcing procurement activities in countries in the regions;

  • Accountable for regional category strategy definition, project execution and stakeholder alignment;

  • Functional and managerial responsibility for Category Management resources allocated to the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Procurement Plus Workplace category on a regional level:

  • Manage direct reports including target setting, performance, training and career development;

  • Foster knowledge sharing between global/regional/local P+ and Workplace category resources;

  • Support the Global Category Leads with the identification of stakeholders and definition of the strategy;

  • Benchmark current category practices with regional developments to identify initiatives for improvement.

Ensure successful implementation of global strategy / agreements on a regional level:

  • Coordinate resource allocation to support global initiatives on a regional and local level;

  • Lead and support regional and global category strategy development and implementation;

  • Support regional/local negotiations and sourcing activities in line with global category strategy;

  • Support business profitability (incl. sales) related to Workplace across the regional Accenture organization.

Manage supplier and customer relationships on a regional level:

  • Develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders;

  • Proactively organize sessions with internal customers to identify value contribution opportunities;

  • Generate value driven pipeline of projects/initiatives based on market analysis and stakeholder demand.

Perform category management activities for projects on a regional level:

  • Drive supplier performance by, for example, discussing lessons learned across different markets;

  • Perform supplier selection and fact-based negotiations in alignment with Global Category Leads;

  • Involve the business for actions related to supplier base optimization, KPI implementation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • At least 5 - 7 years working experience in similar or adequate roles in procurement environment, with international project and people management elements or overall procurement experience of minimum 10 - 12 years;

  • Expert in category management, sourcing as well as project management and planning;

  • Fluent in French and English, spoken and written.

  • Proven knowledge in sourcing and procurement methodologies and concepts;

  • Proven knowledge of the Workplace industry and commercial models;

  • Real estate, facilities or construction procurement experience;

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze specifications and influence demand;

  • Very strong in stakeholder and relationship management as well as supplier management;

  • Action oriented and solution minded team player with high degree of self management;

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, adopt a flexible approach and prioritize tasks appropriately.
