As a Client Access Representative, you'll be responsible for the overall process of scheduling clients, collecting payments, and maintaining current and updated client paperwork. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients, verify personal information, insurance, and collect co-payments.

  • Schedule appointments, obtain benefits and eligibility information.

  • Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and no-shows according to established processes.

  • Resolve client issues and provide information to clients.

  • Prepare and ensure completeness of client health records.

  • Collect payments, balance cash amounts, and complete transactions.

  • Verify and coordinate client referrals.

  • Utilize Electronic Medical Records effectively.

  • Answer phone calls, direct calls, and place calls as requested.

  • Manage stressful client encounters effectively.

  • Maintain waiting room/reception area appearance.

  • Maintain knowledge of office equipment and participate in quality improvement programs.

  • Utilize excellent guest relations skills in all interactions.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Ability to multi-task and be a team player.

  • Excellent organization and typing skills.

  • Ability to work with a computer.

  • Reliable transportation.
