POSITION SUMMARY:

[Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work as a part of team where discipline and rigor are the highest priorities. You will perform complex operations that require a high level of attention, concentration and coordination. You will learn the operations of various lift trucks that are a part of receiving, production, and shipping. ]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

RESPONSIBILITIES:

[As a material handler, you must be able to:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

  • Handle parts and material in a safe manner using overhead crane or forklift;
  • Load, unload or move various products and material to put them away into the appropriate space;
  • Assist during the flanges receiving;
  • Complete receiving reports;
  • Operate a vacuum plate lifter to unload places from trucks or wagons.
  • Drive a truck equipped with a trailer to load and ensure a constant supply of plates to the production team
  • Operate small, medium and heavy lift trucks.
  • Spend up to 50% of your time out of the lift assisting within other departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the production supervisor.
