Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Sr. Principal Engineer to lead and implement site-wide engineering initiatives and projects. Effectively own and efficiently implement new systems, system upgrades, and system modifications. Lead roll out of engineering initiatives including Commissioning and Qualification program, asset qualification monitoring program, data integrity enhancements, predictive maintenance, data analysis, new analytical tools, and digital plant initiatives. Solve complex issues utilizing root case analysis tools and facilitate risk assessment exercise. Manage project schedule, budget, and overall metrics. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with engineering, maintenance, commissioning, qualification, and validation. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with process equipment, utility systems, GxP Facilities, and leading projects including managing contractors; 5 years of experience with developing user and functional requirement specifications, change control management, and risk assessments; 5 years of experience developing process data analytics tools and Standard Operating Procedures; and 5 years of experience with cGMP regulations and practices, CMMS, CSV, EM, HMI, OSI PI, PLC, and SIP. Up to 5% domestic and international travel required. #LI-DNI
