Quality Assurance Co-Op

JOB SUMMARY

This is a temporary student position. This is a great experience that will provide you with real, valuable work experience that will allow you to challenge yourself and learn from industry-leading professionals.

This state-of-the-art shingle plant re-opened in 2021.

LOCATION

71 Orenda Road, Brampton, Ontario, Canada

OUR CANDIDATE:

  • Mechanical / Chemical Engineering student interested in career in Quality

  • Process quality improvement initiatives/projects

  • Leading or participating in the development of trial products and studies

  • Conducting product testing and data analysis

  • Analysis of data related to quality checks, quality parameters, and action plans

  • Quality control laboratory relief and projects

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong computer skills and statistical analysis (MS Office, Minitab)

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement tools

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to analyze and communicate information effectively and accurately

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently
